Color difference occurs in DTF printing, how to adjust the color of DTF printer

The pattern sprayed by the DTF transfer printer generally has a certain color difference from the original image. Different patterns may have different color difference sizes. When the color difference is not within the acceptable range, we generally choose to use image processing software to adjust the color. Common AI, PHOTOSHOP, etc. are all acceptable. After adjustment, test print on the machine, and then compare with the original image, and repeat this process until it is close to the original image.

Adjust through the printing software that comes with the DTF transfer machine. Through continuous adjustment, it can generally be close to the original image. The printing control software that comes with the printer also has a simple color adjustment function, but the range of adjustment is limited. It can only adjust the style of the picture, such as darker or bluer, and cannot make local adjustments, so it is useless and rarely used. Sometimes no matter how you adjust the color, you can’t be satisfied. This may happen for the following reasons:

1. Ink color density

When the ink color density is low, when printing dark colors, no matter how you adjust it, you can’t achieve a satisfactory level. For example, if you want to print dark black, but the black ink color density is just low, no matter how you adjust the color, the print will always be light black.

2. Curve

When the ink does not match the board and RIP software of the white ink heat transfer printer, the color difference of the printed pattern will be very large. No matter how you adjust the color, it is impossible to get close. This situation usually occurs after changing the ink brand and model.

3. Waveform

The waveform also has a great influence on the effect of the pattern, which generally depends on the board provider.
