The Difference Between DTF Cold Tear Film and DTF Hot Tear Film

1. The color difference: cold tear film’s color is better than hot tear film’s.

2. The difference in color fastness: the color fastness of the two is similar.

3. The difference in stability: the cold-tear film is more stable and more resistant to high temperatures than the hot-tear film. The hot-tear film is also stable if the temperature is well controlled.

4. The difference in tension: neither will be pulled apart and cracked after hot-pressing.

5. The difference in efficiency: choose a hot-tear film for efficiency. The current double-sided B-film can be torn in seconds, hot or cold. Cold tear film is better to tear when it is cool or slightly warm.

DTF Hot Peel Film

The main release component of hot peel film is wax, which has relatively poor ink absorption performance. Small characters are easy to peel off, but the surface brightness is high after thorough cooling.

After transferring the heat transfer to the fabric through the hot press, peel it off while it is still hot to save waiting time.

Tear off within 9 seconds after turning on the hot press (ambient temperature 35℃), or tear off when the film surface temperature is over 100℃. If it is not torn off in time, the cooled glue will stick to the garment, making it difficult to tear off the garment and film, and there may be problems such as pattern residue.

DTF Cold Tear Film

The main release component of cold tear film is silicon, the product has good stability, and the color is matte after thorough cooling.

Transfer first, then gently tear off the film after it cools down (the temperature is below 55 degrees Celsius), otherwise, it is very likely to tear the heat transfer pattern.
