The structure of the AB film finished product is similar to the sandwich principle. It consists of three layers, namely the thin protective film on the surface, the crystal film in the middle, and the base paper. The base paper is a key factor in determining whether the crystal label can be transferred completely and easily.
The base paper of the crystal label on the market is generally divided into two types: transparent base paper & white base paper. The following will explain the differences and advantages and disadvantages of the two in detail.
UV DTF Transparent base paper:
As the name suggests, it is a transparent release base paper. Under the same number of meters, it is small in size, lighter in weight, and easy to transport. During the printing process, it is easier to monitor the printing screen effect and convenient to adjust at any time.
However, it also has a disadvantage, that is, it has higher requirements for the paper feeding system of the printer and is prone to wrinkling.
UV DTF White base paper:
The paper has a white base and is more environmentally friendly. Because of its white background, the finished product has a better display effect.
There are also disadvantages, such as larger volume and naturally heavier under the same number of meters; during the printing process, the monitoring page effect is poor. In addition, it should be noted that due to its material characteristics, it has good water absorption, so it is more susceptible to moisture and needs to be properly stored in a cool and dry environment.
How to choose the right crystal label backing paper?
1. The backing paper is made of high-quality Singla release paper
2. The texture is dense and uniform, with good internal strength and light transmittance
3. It has functions such as high temperature resistance, moisture resistance, and oil resistance
4. It can firmly adhere to the pattern, has strong adhesion, and is easy to carry and separate when transferring
Only after understanding the precautions can we avoid quality problems caused by consumables.
