Before choosing Crystal Label AB film, you must first understand Crystal Label AB film and its usage principles.
Crystal Label AB film is divided into A film and B film.
The A-film itself has two layers. The first layer is the bottom film of the PET printing film, and the second layer is the adhesive with the ink absorbing function. The crystal label printer prints the design directly on the ink absorbing layer. The printing order is: white ink first, color ink second, and varnish last.
There is only one layer of B-film. After the pattern is printed on the ink-absorbing layer of the A film and dried, the uv dtf printer automatically covers the B film on the A film with the pattern to protect the integrity of the pattern and transfer the pattern for easy application.
At this point, the adhesive and pattern on the A film are applied to the B film. The crystal label is complete.
If using crystal labels, tear off the A film without the glue or pattern. At this point, the glue will have covered the bottom of the pattern. Then, apply the pattern directly to the item to be labeled, press firmly, and tear off the B film, and the crystal label is applied. Here, the B film also plays a role in transferring the pattern to the object.
How do I choose the uv AB film?
Under normal circumstances, UV AB film should be purchased and used together, and both are essential for printing.
First of all, AB films come in different sizes. The length of AB film is generally 100m, and the width is divided into 30cm and 60cm. You can choose the Crystal Label AB film with the appropriate width according to the print width of your Crystal Label printer. Printers with 30cm printing width can choose 30cm printing film; printers with 60cm printing width can adapt to 30cm and 60cm AB film, but under normal circumstances, they will choose 60cm printing film.
In addition, AB film also has colors. Under normal circumstances, AB films are transparent.
The A-film is also available in white. The functions of clear and white are the same except for the different colors. Generally, manufacturers who are new to crystal label printers will choose the white A-film to better distinguish it from the B-film. After you are familiar with using the crystal label printer, you can choose the color of film A according to your own usage habits. The color of A film has no effect on its use.
B film has special colors, including gold, silver, etc. According to the printing needs, the corresponding special B film is selected.
