Crystal Label AB film is divided into A film and B film.
The A film itself has two layers. The first layer is the base film of PET printing film, and the second layer is the adhesive with ink absorption function. The crystal label printer prints the pattern directly on the ink absorption layer. The printing order is to print white ink first, then color ink, and then varnish.
The B film has only one layer. After the pattern is printed on the ink-absorbing layer of the A film and dried, the crystal label printer automatically covers the B film on the A film with the pattern to protect the integrity of the pattern and transfer the pattern for easy printing.
At this time, the adhesive and pattern of the A film are attached to the B film. The Crystal Label is now complete.
How to choose the Crystal Label AB film?
In general, the Crystal Label AB film should be purchased and used together. Both are essential for printing.
First of all, AB films are divided into different sizes. AB film is generally 100m long and 30cm and 60cm wide. You can choose the appropriate width of Crystal Label AB film according to the print width of your Crystal Label printer. Printers with 30cm print width can choose 30cm print film; printers with 60cm print width can adapt to 30cm and 60cm AB film, but generally choose 60cm print film.
In addition, AB film comes in a variety of colors. In general, AB film is transparent. And A film also has white color. The functions of transparent color and white color are the same except for the color. Generally, manufacturers who are just starting to contact crystal label printers will choose white A film to better distinguish it from B film. After you are familiar with the use of crystal label printers, you can choose the color of A-film according to your usage habits. The color of A film does not affect its use.
B film has special colors such as gold and silver. According to different printing requirements, the corresponding special B film is selected.
