DTF Printing transfer is caused by the following reasons: material problems, improper heat pressing temperature, insufficient heat pressing time and equipment problems.
1. Material problem:
DTF heat transfer printing is performed on the fabric’s surface. The material of the fabric is not suitable for heat transfer. The heat pressing process will cause the fabric to deform or shrink, leading to edge warping.
2. Improper heat pressing temperature:
When DTF heat transfer printing is performed, the heat pressing temperature is too high or too low, which will cause edge warping. If the temperature is too high, the fabric will be excessively deformed; if the temperature is too low, the heat transfer adhesive is not sticky enough and cannot be firmly bonded.
3. Insufficient heat pressing time:
When DTF heat transfer printing is pressed, insufficient heat pressing time will cause the heat transfer glue to not completely melt and penetrate the fabric fiber, and the heat transfer cannot be firmly fixed, causing warping.
4. Equipment problems:
Equipment problems such as inaccurate temperature control, uneven pressure, or uneven ironing head of the white ink heat transfer printing machine lead to uneven heat transfer, which causes warping. To avoid the problem of DTF heat transfer warping, you can consider the applicability of the material when choosing fabrics and heat transfer designs, and ensure that the appropriate heat transfer temperature and time are used.
In addition, using reliable DTF heat transfer printing equipment and correct operation methods can also help reduce the occurrence of edge warping. In actual operation, it is best to test a small piece of fabric first to determine the best heat transfer parameters. If you find the edge warping after pressing, you can repeat the pressing once to achieve the effect you want.
