What is ink dripping of A3 DTF printer? How to solve it? TEXTEK A3 DTF printer manufacturer will help you.

1. Ink drip
It is obvious that multiple color areas may appear in image output of DIY A3 DTF printer. Color zone may only appear one or more times in image. If it appears multiple times, these color areas may be consistent or inconsistent with color area between about 1 to 5 inches. This is because preheat setting value is set too high, which causes ink to boil in nozzle plate of ink cartridge. Boiling of ink will cause air bubbles to be formed in DTF ink, which will eventually remove most of ink. As more bubbles replace ink, ink is replaced by bubbles, causing ink to drip. Once nozzle plate has cooled down slightly, ink can enter nozzle plate and continue printing until nozzle plate overheats again.

2. How to clean up encoder sensor
Encoder sensor is located behind bracket assembly. To clean encoder sensor, lift top cover of A3 DTF printer, press “Accessibility Menu” and then press “Access Ink Cartridge” to remove carriage from workbench. Note: You will not be able to actually see sensor Generally understand its position on bracket assembly. Adjust direction of canned air so that it can spray air from left side of bracket assembly toward back of it. Place canned air under tracking cable holder and above encoder strip. Note: Jet airflow to sensor to remove impurities on sensor. Press “Access Ink Cartridge” to reinstall carriage assembly back to workbench. Close top cover of A3 DTF printer.
