White ink heat transfer printing controls the output color through the computer, and the color reflected on the computer screen is different from the color mode of the jet printing (the color of the screen is RGB mode, while the color of jet printing is CMYK mode), which is A toning process is required. The color matching process also needs to set different process parameters according to factors such as dye properties, printing accuracy, and fabric type. If the parameters are not set properly, the printed color will be very different from the manuscript.

Screen display method:

The screen display method is to adjust the color of the image by adjusting the color displayed on the screen, usually through the color menu on the screen to select or adjust the color. This method is very useful when color matching or starting to color, and it is a commonly used method of color matching by designers.

However, because the color development principle of fluorescent screens is different from that of dyes on fabrics (fluorescent screens produce colors by mixing three RGB electron beams, while dyes express colors by absorbing light waves of certain colors), all on the screen The colors that can be displayed cannot be expressed on the fabric by dyes, and the slight differences between the colors expressed by the dyes cannot be clearly displayed on the screen. So this is an approximate method of grading and cannot be used for precise grading.

Color card toning method:

One or several color modes can be selected to establish a color card model, and the color card model is a three-dimensional solid (Lab mode and RGB mode) or a group of three-dimensional solids (CMYK mode). Second, make a color card file. It is possible to decompose a 3D model into a 2D graphic, with one of the values as a variable, and for CMYK mode, two variables. After making the color card file, print it out for later use.

This method of color matching is simple and easy to use. You only need to compare the target color with the color card and choose the same color. However, if this method is used, different fabrics may have color differences, so the color card fabric is best the same as the target fabric. Therefore, the three-dimensional scale subdivision of the color card will also affect the toning effect. If the scale is too fine, the number of color cards and the workload of comparison will be greatly increased; if the scale is too large, the number of color cards will be controlled, but the desired color may not be found during comparison.
