In DTF heat transfer printing, for the problem of 4-head quick printing, the color of the printed image is uneven, like "clouds" - especially magenta and cyan.
The key problem is that the motherboard control system causes the ink droplets to not be ejected to the correct position.
Hosonsoft is currently the best motherboard for Epson i3200 DTF heat transfer printer, but it cannot avoid the problem of uneven color of printed images.
Now we have some ways to improve:
a). Use better DTF ink, smoother and denser.
b). Use better DTF film, thicker and better absorbed. The coating is more uniform, and every drop of ink is well absorbed.
c). Reduce the speed.
d). Use more "feather" settings, 40%, 80% and 90%.
How to adjust the color in DTF printing?
Can the DTF printer adjust the color of the pattern by itself? The answer is yes. The DTF printer was originally designed to cater to the personalized customization market. It can print any pattern and change the printing color at will. So, what should I do if the color of the printed pattern is different from the pattern displayed on the computer? How should we adjust?
Before starting DTF printing, the initial pattern design will generally be simply adjusted to make the tone of the finished product closer to the original.
However, during the color adjustment process, "seeing is believing" cannot be realized.
There are two reasons: one is because the color display of the screen is prohibited, and the other is that the screen does not simulate the effect of white ink heat transfer printing.
The screen can be calibrated using profilemaker software. The screen simulation simulates the actual effect. The calibrated ICCof the screen needs to be loaded.
At the same time, the DTF printing must be loaded into the color management part of the pre-press adjustment software such as Photoshop. The ICC international color of the machine is synchronized with the international color card.
Not all processing plants have detailed color system management for DTF printing machines, so we must master the basic principles of four-color ink printing, the printing nozzles, and ink colors of our processing plants, and integrate basic theories and Practical exercises to adjust the color tone.
Generally, for such complex color adjustments, technicians from the DTF printer manufacturer help customers adjust the color before conducting printing tests. If you are not a professional technician, we do not recommend making adjustments by yourself.
How to Fix Horizontal Banding in DTF Printing
The DTF printer prints normally, but the printed content has blanks, horizontal bandings, or severe color cast. As long as the nozzle blocks the ink hole, the image may have broken lines. If multiple nozzles are blocked, the broken lines and stripes will become serious. In addition to nozzle blockage, other problems can also cause the heat transfer printer to have broken lines and horizontal bandings. So how to solve these problems?
1. There are impurities in the pipeline. Use a syringe to extract the impurities and air in the pipeline.
2. There are impurities in the ink sac. Clean the ink sac pipeline.
3. There is a problem with the ink quality. Replace the ink.
4. Environmental problems. Set the air conditioner if the temperature is too low to improve the working environment temperature.
5. The nozzle is in poor condition or the nozzle surface is dirty. Use fluff to clean the nozzle surface or replace the nozzle.
6. The scraper and ink stack are dirty. Clean the scraper, ink sac, and ink stack.
7. There is air in the ink sac. Extract the air in the ink sac.
1.DTF ink dirtys the pattern
causes:
If the ink is not fully cured or there is too much ink on the fabric, it will appear as a smear.
Solution:
To resolve this issue, adjust the heat and pressure settings to verify that the ink is fully cured. You can also reduce the amount of ink consumed by modifying the printer ink settings.
2.Ink adhesion issues in DTF printing
Causes:
If the ink cannot adequately enter the fabric, poor ink adhesion occurs. As a result, the ink may flake off the fabric or fade quickly.
Solution:
To resolve this issue, consider modifying the ink settings to maximize the ink penetration. To prepare the fabric for printing, you can also use a pre-treatment solution.
3.DTF printing issue: inconsistent colors
Causes:
Color differences may occur if the ink is not mixed properly or the printer is not calibrated correctly.
Solution:
To resolve this issue, mix the ink carefully and change the printer calibration settings to ensure consistent colors.
4.Ink bleeding issues during DTF printing
Causes:
If the ink is not properly contained within the print area, it may bleed. This may cause the print to be blurred or distorted.
Solution:
This problem can be solved by modifying the ink settings to limit the amount of ink used. You can also change the printer settings to improve the printing accuracy.
5.Repeated printing or ghosting issues in DTF printing
Causes:
Ghosting or repeated printing may occur if the fabric is not properly fixed or the ink is not fully cured before printing the next layer. As a result, the image may be blurred or repeated.
Solution:
To fix this, try using a higher-tension fabric clamp or adjusting the printer settings to increase the time between printed layers.
