During printing process of DTF pet film printer, there may be a problem of nozzle missing. So what are reasons for that, and what are solutions?

1. DTF film printer’s printhead is blocked: nozzle is blocked by dust or impurities in ink. When printhead is slightly clogged, use cleaning function of DTF pet film printer to perform ink extraction cleaning; if printhead is severely blocked, it is necessary to remove it and soak it with cleaning solution.

Suggestion: After daily work of DTF shirt printer, you must return carriage to make printhead and capping station completely airtight. Be careful to prevent printhead from being exposed to air and blocked by dust or dry ink.

2. Air leakage in ink supply system: ink supply system of DTF pet film printer is a sealed continuous ink supply device. When a certain part of ink supply system, such as ink cartridges, ink tubes, damper, etc., has air leakage, ink supply system pressure is insufficient. If ink supply is not available, there will be a problem of nozzle missing. At this time, you need to check ink supply system, and leaking parts can be maintained or replaced.

3.Ink problem of DTF printer: ink of DTF printer is sprayed onto printing pet film through printhead. If ink is inferior, ink particles will be large, sedimentation will be large, and fluency will be poor. In addition, inferior ink has poor weather resistance, is sensitive to temperature, and its viscosity is easily changed with temperature changes, thereby causing nozzle missing.
