During printing process of large DTF printer, nozzle missing may occur. So what are reasons for that, and what are solutions?

1. Printhead blockage: Printhead blockage is most common cause of nozzle missing in A1 DTF printer, mostly because nozzle are blocked by dust or impurities in ink. When print head is slightly blocked, use cleaning function that comes with printer to perform ink extraction cleaning; if print head is severely blocked, it is necessary to remove print head and soak it with cleaning solution.

Suggestion: After daily work of large DTF printer, must return carriage to make print head and cap completely airtight. Be careful to prevent print head from being exposed to air and blocked by dust or dry ink.

2. Air leakage in ink supply system: ink supply system of dtf printer is a sealed continuous ink supply device. When a certain part of ink supply system, such as ink cartridges, ink tubes, damper, etc., has air leakage, ink supply system pressure is insufficient. If ink supply is not available, there will be a problem of nozzle missing. At this time, you need to check ink supply system, and leaking parts can be maintained or replaced.

3. Ink problem of large dtf printer: ink is sprayed onto printing medium through printhead. If ink is of inferior quality, ink particles are large, sedimentation is large, and fluency is poor, the printhead is easily blocked. In addition, inferior ink has poor weather resistance, is sensitive to temperature, and its viscosity is easily changed with temperature changes, thereby causing nozzle missing.

4.In addition, it should be noted that, in addition to above factors, print head is too low, and scratching print head during printing is also prone to nozzle missing.
