How to maintain the printer when the temperature is low in winter:
1. Turn on the printer to preheat
When turning on the UV printer, do not put it into use immediately. It is best to let the machine preheat for about 10 minutes to achieve the best printing state of the machine.
PS: Before turning on the machine, you can try to use a hair dryer to blow warm air for a short time to help the temperature of the machine warm up quickly.

2. Clean the printheads nozzle regularly
In winter, when the air humidity is low and the room is dry, the ink of the inkjet printer may dry and agglomerate, causing the nozzle to become clogged. Therefore, the nozzles need to be cleaned regularly. You can use professional cleaning fluid or pure water to avoid ink clogging the nozzles.

3. Turn on the machine frequently
Turn on the machine at least once a day. The printer will preheat itself when turned on, and will automatically clean the nozzles to prevent ink droplets from staying on the nozzles for a long time and causing blockage.

4. Control indoor temperature
The working environment temperature of the printer equipment should be 25-30 ℃. If the temperature is too low, the gears at the bottom of the printer will become hard, resulting in the inability to effectively feed paper and affecting the working stability of the printer. Therefore, try to keep the inkjet printer in a stable temperature environment to avoid excessive temperature differences.

5. Control indoor humidity
Control indoor humidity at 40%-60%. Drying in winter can easily produce static electricity, and static electricity is the natural enemy of all electronic products. Equipping hardware such as a humidifier in the printer's operating room can moisturize the air and reduce the occurrence of static electricity.
We can reduce static electricity according to the following three skills
(1) Use a humidifier to increase air humidity. It is best to keep the humidity between 35% and 65%. The humidifier should be kept at a distance from the main board of the digital printing press to avoid condensation of water droplets and short-circuiting of the main board.
(2) The digital printing press should be connected to a ground wire and buried in the ground at least 2 meters deep. Salt water may be poured over the buried area to increase conductivity.
(3) Take care to control the printing speed to avoid excessive static electricity.

6. Handling abnormal situations
When an abnormality occurs on the printer, stop printing immediately and deal with it according to conventional methods; if the problem still cannot be solved, please contact our after-sales service as soon as possible.

DTF Printer Maintenance and Care
Daily maintenance
1. Check if the waste ink tank is full
Since DTF printers produce waste ink during the printing process, the waste ink cartridge must be cleaned in a timely manner.
2. Whether there is air in the ink tube inside the ink cartridge
This needs to be taken care of. If air enters the ink cartridge, the ink will solidify and the ink will not flow smoothly. In this case, the ink cartridge and ink tube should be cleaned in a timely manner.
3. Ink tube
Before production, the nozzles must be checked to make sure they are in good condition. If the test line is discontinuous, it should be cleaned. Otherwise, the printed product will not achieve the expected effect.

Winter UV DTF printer maintenance:
1. Preheating is very important. After turning on the UV Roll to Roll DTF printer every day, do not put it into use immediately. It is best to let the machine preheat for 10-15 minutes.
2. The cold and dry winter will weaken the lubricating effect of the lubricant on the guide rail of the printer's print head carriage. The friction resistance will increase when the carriage moves on the guide rail. The lubricant must be checked in time.
3. If the UV DTF printer is not used for a long time, the UV ink should be extracted and the nozzle should be maintained with special cleaning fluid to keep the nozzle smooth. When the equipment stops working during the day, it is best to add a layer of black cloth on top of the equipment at night to prevent light and dust from entering.
4. After turning on the machine, do a white paper printing test and test the use of the print head. If conditions permit, it is best to work in an air-conditioned environment and keep the room temperature between 22~25 ℃.
